17 May Ladismith Tylecodon paniculatus
This was an interesting spot. About a month before a new fence was built here and the fencing crew chopped a swath for the fence, just as they do in my native Colorado. Except here, the fence went though right through a wonderful stand of Tylecodon paniculatus, destroying most. We saw the same thing ten days earlier at Riversdale where a new fence left hundreds of chopped Haworthia magnifica scattered on a hillside.
