Root Loss

While it is normal that a Haworthia discards some old roots, a significant root loss indicates some problems. Such losses are mostly caused by rot, and sometimes root mealybugs.

Root rots are often the results of excess water in the growing medium. Choose a well-drain growing medium and follow a proper watering schedule will solve the problem.

Root mealybugs feed on roots. It is necessary to inspect the roots carefully and look for their signs.
